Job Summary:

As a compassionate and dedicated Overnight Private Duty Caregiver with Safe and Sound Home Care, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one care to elderly and disabled individuals in the Oxford, MS area. Our family-owned company is committed to helping our clients live safely and independently at home, and we're seeking a motivated and experienced caregiver to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.

• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.

• Assist with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks.

• Plan and prepare meals.

• Complete client shopping or accompany them to shopping.

• Perform household duties.

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.

• Offer essential daily living activities, including serving and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to continuously learn new skills.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).

• Willingness to enforce safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver.

• Take pride in high-quality care.
