Floor Tech

CareCore at Westmoreland is looking for a dependable and motivated Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services team! If you take pride in keeping floors looking their best and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule

• Full-Time

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 5 days per week, including weekends

• Every 3rd weekend off each month

Responsibilities

• Maintain all hard floors and carpets throughout the facility.

• Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors.

• Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors according to facility standards.

• Complete routine and deep cleaning of floors in resident rooms and common areas.

• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.

• Assist the housekeeping team as needed to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

• Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.

• Ability to safely operate floor care equipment.

• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
