Resident Transport Driver

WeCare Centers is actively seeking a Transportation Aide for our community in Waynesburg, PA! As a Transportation Aide you are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for our residents, families and co-workers. 

Key Responsibilities

• Report all pertinent information concerning resident care as detected to appropriate personnel.

• Drive facility provided vehicle.

• Transport residents, staff and volunteers to desired destinations. 

• Review daily rehabilitation schedule and be available as indicated.

• Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs. 

• Ensures a safe environment 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff.

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED.

• Valid, unencumbered state drivers license.

• 1-2 years transportation experience preferred.

• Previous long term care experience.

• Must have experience transporting and transferring residents with physical impairments using facility equipment.
