We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Nightingale at Arkadelphia, a premier healthcare provider in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. As an LPN at our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

About the Role

As an LPN, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care to our residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information. You will also be responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, as well as providing emotional support and assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

  • Monitor residents' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation

  • Provide wound care and other medical treatments as needed

  • Document patient information, including assessments, medications, and treatments

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Provide emotional support and assistance to residents and their families

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and services provided

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in the state of Arkansas

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in nursing or related field preferred

  • Experience in long-term care or gerontology a plus

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
