We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at The Village at Marymount, a leading healthcare provider in Garfield Heights, Ohio. About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation department, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients. You will assess patients' physical abilities, set realistic goals, and use your expertise to help them achieve maximum independence and function. With your expertise, you will also educate patients and their families on how to perform exercises, use assistive devices, and adapt to their new abilities.

In‑House Therapy — Managed On‑Site

Our therapy department is fully in‑house and managed by our own leadership team, giving you a stable, collaborative environment without the turnover, shifting priorities, or productivity pressure common in contract therapy companies. You’ll work directly with our nursing and therapy teams to deliver consistent, resident‑centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical abilities, strengths, and limitations

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and modalities

• Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, transfer techniques, and use of assistive devices

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy
