Responsibilities:

• Transport Residents Safely: Safely transport residents to and from appointments, activities, and medical procedures, ensuring their dignity and well-being at all times.
• Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and reassurance to residents during transportation, providing a calming presence in potentially stressful situations.
• Maintain Vehicle and Equipment: Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of transportation vehicles and equipment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
• Monitor and Report: Monitor and report any incidents, near-misses, or concerns during transportation, promoting a culture of safety and open communication.
• Collaborate with Care Team: Work closely with the care team to develop and implement individualized transportation plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Maintain Confidentiality: Treat resident information with discretion and respect, adhering to all confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required

• 0 years of experience in healthcare or transportation: Preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment
