Magnolia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and dedicated Cook to join our dietary team. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while ensuring compliance with all dietary guidelines and food safety standards.

Position Details:

• Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Available

• Flexible Scheduling (including weekends & holidays as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and therapeutic diets

• Ensure meals are appetizing, properly portioned, and served at correct temperatures

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

• Assist with food prep, tray line, and kitchen operations as needed

• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing team to meet resident needs

• Monitor food quality, storage, labeling, and inventory

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or large-scale cooking a plus)

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards required

• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions (low sodium, diabetic, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred
