Job Summary

Right at Home Lake Norman/Charlotte, a trusted home care franchise system, is seeking dependable and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide in-home support to seniors and adults with disabilities in Mooresville, North Carolina, and surrounding service areas. As a PCA with our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while enjoying flexible full-time and part-time schedules, paid training, and a hourly rate of $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living

• Prepare meals based on clients' needs and preferences

• Perform light housekeeping related to client care

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Assist with errands and transportation, when required

• Provide medication reminders

• Observe and report changes in a client's condition

• Follow the client's care plan and company policies

• Help clients remain safe and independent in their homes

Qualifications

• Previous PCA, caregiving, or home-care experience is preferred but not required

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance

• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members

• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check and drug screening
