NOW HIRING – HOUSEKEEPING / ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Full-Time | Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Accela Rehab and Care Center at Manalapan is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Environmental Services team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

What You'll Do

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and other facility areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces

• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas according to facility standards

• Collect and dispose of trash appropriately

• Restock cleaning and housekeeping supplies as needed

• Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents

• Follow infection-control, sanitation, and safety procedures

• Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor

• Work cooperatively with nursing, maintenance, and other departments

• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or cleaning experience preferred

• Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus

• Reliable and punctual

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures

• Professional and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers

• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with housekeeping in a healthcare environment
