Complete Care at Silver Lake is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team at our 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Dover, Delaware. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic nursing leader who is committed to delivering exceptional resident care, mentoring clinical teams, and driving quality outcomes in a collaborative environment. The facility is a 3-Star CMS-rated skilled nursing center providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized clinical services.

As Director of Nursing, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational success.

Responsibilities for Director of Nursing (DON):

• Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing services within the facility

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

• Drive quality measures, survey readiness, and performance improvement initiatives

• Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain nursing staff

• Promote a positive culture focused on resident outcomes and employee engagement

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident care

• Manage staffing, budgets, clinical programs, and operational goals

• Monitor infection prevention, risk management, and clinical compliance initiatives

Qualifications for Director of Nursing (DON):

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware

• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required

• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and quality measures

• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-building skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Passion for delivering outstanding resident-centered care
