As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents and patients. Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages according to specific procedures and protocols

• Serve meals in a safe and hygienic environment, ensuring the well-being of our residents and patients

• Take inventory of kitchen supplies and food items to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen

• Stay up-to-date on individual procedures and protocols, including state-specific rules and regulations

• Set up and take down dining areas, and assist with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning

• Participate in educational programs on nutrition to promote residents' health and well-being

Qualifications and Skills

• Patience and compassion when working with residents and family members

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and assist residents with eating and cleaning up after meals

• Familiarity with food preparation and serving procedures
