Dietary Cook

CareCore at Lakeridge is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our dietary team. This role plays a key part in providing quality meals and a positive dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary guidelines
• Ensure food is prepared, served, and stored safely
• Follow all sanitation and infection control standards
• Maintain proper food temperatures and complete required logs
• Assist with kitchen organization, cleaning, and inventory
• Work collaboratively with dietary team and nursing staff

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required, healthcare or LTC preferred
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets (mechanical soft, purees, etc.) preferred
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and food safety standards
• Reliable and team-oriented

Schedule

• Rotating weekends and holidays
