Pendleton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team!

Our housekeeping staff plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and employees. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and understands the importance of maintaining a comfortable home for those in our care.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned spaces.

• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.

• Properly handle and dispose of trash and waste.

• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain housekeeping equipment.

• Follow safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures.

• Report maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.

• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and personal belongings.

• Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain a clean and comfortable facility.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.

• Experience in a nursing home, healthcare facility, or similar environment is a plus.

• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.

• Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.

• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

• A positive attitude and commitment to resident care.
