Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility in Lancaster, PA, is seeking an experienced Cook to join our dietary team.

In this role, you will assist with preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet established dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Your culinary skills and reliability will help ensure our residents receive a high-quality dining experience every day.

Schedule

• Day and evening shifts

• Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements

• Follow portion control standards and special diet orders accurately

• Prepare food using standardized recipes and proper food safety procedures

• Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment

• Assist with meal service and food preparation as directed by the Dietary Manager

• Ensure compliance with all dietary, sanitation, and safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience required

• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred

• Culinary training is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Dependable, organized, and committed to resident satisfaction
