About the Role

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with developmental disabilities to achieve their behavioral goals and improve their quality of life. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RBT to join our team, working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.

Job Summary

As an RBT at Intellistars ABA, you will:

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA

• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals

• Assist in developing care plans tailored to individual needs

• Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations

• Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach

• Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for clients

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy

Requirements

• A valid RBT certification

• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children

• Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively

• Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques

• Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families

• Competitive hourly rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

• $100 bonus to all RBTs who work a minimum of 15 hours a week with a client if they stick to their intended schedules and there are no cancellations

Schedule

• Monday to Friday

• Weekends as needed

• Must be able to commute
