We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Dietary Aid to join our team at Crest Haven Nursing and Rehab, a leading provider of hotel-style healthcare in Middle Township, New Jersey. As a Dietary Aid, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents by preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals.

Job Summary

The Dietary Aid is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and snacks to our residents. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food for residents, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits

• Help with food service, including serving and clearing tables

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards

• Restock supplies and inventory as needed

• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special dietary meals for residents with specific needs

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff members

• Participate in food safety training and maintain accurate records of food temperatures and storage
