Patient Support Associate – Medical Office

Location: Cambridge, NY and Hoosick Falls, NY - must have the ability to travel between both locations.

We are seeking a reliable and personable Patient Support Associate to assist with daily operations in our outpatient medical practice. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, staying organized, and working collaboratively within a healthcare setting.

The selected candidate will play an important role in helping patients navigate their visits while supporting both administrative and basic clinical workflows.

Position Highlights:

Essential Duties:

• Assist with patient check-in and appointment coordination

• Communicate with patients regarding scheduling, follow-ups, and general inquiries

• Update and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record platform

• Verify insurance information and assist with administrative paperwork

• Provide support to clinical staff with intake processes and vital signs

• Help ensure smooth daily office operations and patient flow

• Deliver courteous and professional customer service at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare office preferred

• Experience in patient services, medical reception, care coordination, or medical assisting is a plus

• Comfortable working with EMR/EHR systems and standard office technology

• Strong communication and multitasking abilities

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently when needed

• Positive attitude with a patient-first approach

Schedule:

Flexible part-time schedule consisting of  24-30 hours per week.
