Job Description:

We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our catering team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents and patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing meals, snacks, and beverages following specific procedures

• Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

• Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items

• Staying current on individual procedures and protocols for our facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations

• Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning

• Assisting with educational programs on nutrition

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Patience and compassion when working with residents and family members

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to follow instructions for meal orders, nutritional needs, and recipes to ensure residents and patients receive appropriate food

• Physical stamina to assist in food preparation and serving meals, helping residents with eating and cleaning up after meals
