EMDR Focused Therapist

Position Overview

Savia Community Counseling Services is seeking a trained EMDR Therapist to join our growing Outpatient Department. This position is ideal for a clinician passionate about trauma-informed care and interested in building a steady caseload within a supportive, collaborative team environment. The selected candidate will provide high-quality clinical services utilizing EMDR and other evidence-based modalities to children, adolescents, and/or adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and related concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services using EMDR and other evidence-based interventions

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

• Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members

• Monthly Case Consultation Calls

• Maintain productivity expectations aligned with 13 weekly hours

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field

• Active NJ license (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)

• EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved training required)

• EMDR Certification preferred but not required

• Experience working with trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders

• Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills

• Bilingual is a plus but not required
