About the Role:

Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team! As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will play a vital role in the physical therapy department, working closely with our physical therapists to provide high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents

• Conduct physical therapy treatments and modalities as prescribed by the physical therapist

• Monitor and record resident progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the physical therapist

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, assessments, and progress notes

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication

• Participate in resident education and training to promote independence and well-being

• Perform other duties as assigned by the physical therapy department

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri

• Experience in a long-term care setting, preferred

Per Diem Position:

• Working on an as-needed basis, with flexible scheduling to accommodate our residents' needs
