Caregiver / Home Care Aide – Hospice Care

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, state-registered Home Care Aide to support a local hospice client. We are looking for someone with a heart for end-of-life care who can provide dignity and comfort in the home.

The Schedule:

• 4-hours

• Day Shifts

What you’ll do:

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).

• Offer companionship and emotional support to the client and family.

• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed

• Provide medication reminders.

California State Requirements:

• HCA Registry: Must be currently registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry (or willing to register).

• Background Check: Must have a cleared Live Scan (DOJ/FBI) background check.

• TB Clearance: Recent negative TB test results required.

• Training: Must complete the state-mandated 5 hours of initial orientation/safety training before starting (we can help with this!).

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
