Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary guidelines

• Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner and served at proper temperatures

• Follow sanitation, infection control, and food safety standards

• Assist with food prep, inventory, and kitchen organization

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

• Work closely with dietary staff to ensure resident satisfaction

• Accommodate special diets and dietary needs as directed

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred

• Long-term care or healthcare dietary experience is a plus

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills

• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
