About the Role:

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with CHE Behavioral, you will have the opportunity to work with older adult patients in a compassionate and cost-effective manner. Our clinicians provide quality clinical services to improve the quality of life for our patients, and we are seeking a motivated and experienced LMHC to join our team. This is a part or full-time position, with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based mental health counseling services to older adult patients in long-term care and rehabilitation centers

• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

• Implement and evaluate treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and social workers, to provide comprehensive care

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatment and progress

• Participate in professional development and continuing education to stay current with industry best practices

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field

• Current LMHC licensure in the state of New York

• 1+ year of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other digital tools
