Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Conduct audiology evaluations and screenings as needed

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective speech therapy programs

• Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and evidence-based treatment methods

• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited institution

• Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)

• licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Illinois

• Minimum of years of experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting (years preferred)
