SYNERGY HomeCare of Southeast Texas is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers, personal care assistants (PCAs), home care aides, and companion caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living.

Caregiver Responsibilities

As an In-Home Caregiver or Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide non-medical care and daily living assistance to clients in their homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Companionship & Senior Support: Provide meaningful conversation, emotional support, and engaging activities.

• Meal Preparation: Prepare meals, assist with meal planning, and maintain a clean kitchen.

• Light Housekeeping: Assist with laundry, changing bed linens, and maintaining a safe living environment.

• Mobility Assistance: Support clients with walking, positioning, and safe movement as directed by their care plan.

• Transportation & Errands: Accompany clients to appointments, grocery shopping, and community activities.

• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their self-administered medications.

• Client Monitoring: Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior.

• Care Documentation: Accurately document services provided and communicate with the care team.

• Client Safety: Follow individualized care plans, safety procedures, and company policies.

Caregiver Qualifications

We are looking for reliable, compassionate individuals who meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal experience accepted)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid Texas Driver's License

• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

• Ability to pass required background checks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Dependable, patient, and compassionate attitude

• Ability to work independently in a client's home

• Commitment to providing safe, respectful, high-quality care

Relevant experience may include: Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Senior Caregiver, Companion Caregiver, Assisted Living Caregiver, or Family Caregiver.

CNA certification is not required.
