Dietary Aide

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our assisted living team. This role supports the dietary department in providing nutritious meals and excellent service to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food assembly as directed

• Serve meals to residents in a courteous and respectful manner

• Set up and clear dining areas before and after meals

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas

• Follow infection control and food safety guidelines

• Assist with stocking supplies and organizing storage areas

• Support special dietary needs and preferences of residents

• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous food service or healthcare experience a plus

• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

• Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
