Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 142-bed facility located in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Aide to join our team! As an Activities Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, providing a variety of recreational and social activities designed to promote engagement, independence, and overall well-being.

About the Role:

As an Activities Aide, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a range of activities and programs to meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents. This may include:

• Provide group and individual instruction and hands-on support and guidance to residents

• Lead planned activities, games and events to encourage residents to use mental and physical faculties

• Organizing special events, such as birthday celebrations, holiday parties, and themed events

• Encouraging and supporting resident participation in activities and programs

• Assisting with daily living tasks and providing companionship to residents

• Maintaining accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules

Activities Aide Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead activities to engage residents, such as arts and crafts, games, and exercise classes

• Organize special events and celebrations, such as birthdays, holidays, and themed events

• Provide companionship and assistance with daily living tasks

• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of activities and programs
