As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Per Diem, you will be part of a team that offers a modern, comfortable, and secure facility staffed by caring professionals where each individual receives the finest sub-acute medical care, Rehabilitation services, and 24-hour skilled nursing care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents, focusing on improving functional abilities and quality of life

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments, plan, and implement treatment programs for residents in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident

• Provide education and training to families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on occupational therapy techniques and strategies

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) designation

• Per Diem schedule, working variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Familiarity with PPS and MDS regulations and guidelines
