Job Summary

As a Contract Nurse with Delta Homecare - Tennessee, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in their homes, promoting independence, and improving their overall well-being. This is a part-time, per diem position that offers flexibility and autonomy, with opportunities to earn extra income through referrals and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessments, medications, and education

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and services

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

• Current license as a Registered Nurse through the Georgia State Board of Nursing

• At least two years of general nursing experience, with current home care, medical, surgical, or critical experience

• Comply with accepted professional standards and principles

• Possess and maintain good physical stamina and mental health

• Present a pre-employment physician's health clearance, including a negative TB skin test, current First Aid & CPR certification, and other tests as required by our policy

• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or Company requirements and is in good working order

• Excellent references from previous/current employers and/or professional peers

• Abilities to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines
