Clinician Field Orientation and Supervisory Transition:
Upon completion of Company orientation, the employee will enter the Clinician Field Orientation Program and receive comprehensive training to perform or observe all visit types required of a RN/OT/PT/SLP (within their scope of practice) within the agency.
During the orientation period, the employee will maintain a limited patient caseload of no more than twenty (20) patients while developing and demonstrating competency in field clinical responsibilities. The orientation period may extend up to six (6) months, as determined by operational needs and individual progress, and does not need to be completed consecutively.
Following the completion of the first three (3) months of orientation, or earlier upon successful demonstration of field competency as determined by agency leadership, Clinical Supervisory responsibilities and delegated functions will gradually be introduced. As supervisory duties increase, direct patient care responsibilities will be reduced accordingly.
The objective is to transition the employee from a field-based patient caseload to a clinician supervisory role over the subsequent three (3) months, with all patients removed from the caseload upon successful completion of the transition process.
