Position: Director of Rehabilitation
Location: Columbia County, FL
Shift: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $105,000 – $110,000 (based on licensure and experience)

We are seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead and enhance our rehabilitation department. This is a leadership opportunity to guide a skilled team of therapists and directly influence the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct, organize, and evaluate all rehabilitation services in alignment with facility goals

• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; recommend and implement policy updates as needed

• Collaborate with residents and families to develop and adjust individualized rehabilitation plans

• Oversee daily staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for rehab therapists and support staff

• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare partners, and community organizations

• Identify departmental challenges and develop effective solutions in collaboration with facility leadership

• Ensure compliance during regulatory surveys and inspections

• Oversee accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes

• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to support optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation or related field (minimum requirement)

• Active, unencumbered license as an OT, PT, or SLP

• Minimum 3 years of rehabilitation experience

• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting (hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred)

• Strong knowledge of RUGs and CMI systems
