Job Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9a-5p and Wednesdays 6am-2pm

NO SUNDAYS!!

Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Wound Care team at Highfield Gardens Care Center of Great Neck, a sub-acute and long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our patients. As an RN on our Wound Care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex wound conditions, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to promote healing, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Responsibilities:

• Assess, develop, and implement individualized wound care plans for patients with complex wound conditions

• Provide direct patient care, including wound cleaning, dressing changes, and treatments

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care

• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques, self-care strategies, and prevention methods

• Document patient progress, outcomes, and wound care activities in accordance with facility policies and regulations

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care and outcomes

Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of New York

• Prior experience in wound care or related field

• Strong knowledge of wound care principles, practices, and standards

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

• Strong attention to detail, with accuracy and precision in documentation and record-keeping
