About the Role:

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Aspire Senior Living Jonesburg, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and care of our residents. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in our skilled nursing facility. Your expertise will help our residents regain their communication skills and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of residents' communication skills

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders

• Provide therapy sessions to residents, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities

• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication

• Participate in staff training and education to stay current with best practices and industry developments

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and therapy sessions

Requirements:

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Missouri

• Experience working with post-acute care or skilled nursing facility residents preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
