We are seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to join our team at Beechwood Post Acute & Transitional Care, a premier healthcare facility in New London, Connecticut. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring individualized nutrition care plans for our residents. You will work closely with our clinical team to identify and address nutrition-related needs, and provide education and counseling to residents and their families. Your expertise will be essential in promoting optimal nutrition and hydration to support our residents' overall health and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans for residents

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide education and counseling to residents and their families

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address nutrition-related needs

• Participate in care plan development and implementation

• Monitor and report on resident outcomes and nutrition-related data

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in nutrition and dietetics

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or related degree

• Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a post-acute or transitional care environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
