At Saint John Paul II, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Danbury, Connecticut.

About the Role:

As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of our experienced nursing staff to deliver exceptional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct patient care: assisting with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and performing treatments and procedures as instructed by our nursing team
• Maintaining patient dignity and comfort: promoting a positive and respectful environment that supports our patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being
• Collaborating with healthcare team members: contributing to effective communication and coordination of care with our registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate records: accurately documenting patient information, test results, and treatment plans in accordance with our policies and procedures
• Participating in care planning: contributing to the development and implementation of individualized care plans that meet our patients' unique needs and goals

Starting Hourly Rate: $21.64

Requirements:

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): maintaining current certification and complying with our state's CNA requirements

• Availability to work flexible schedules: including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent: required

• Minimum 1 year of experience: preferred
