At SYNERGY HomeCare of Teaneck, we're seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Companions / Babysitters. As a Companions / Babysitters, you will work directly with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and attention. If you have a big heart and a commitment to creating a healthy environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and responsible care for children in the family's home.

• Supervise children at all times and ensure their safety and well-being.

• Assist children with daily activities, including meals, snacks, dressing, hygiene, and other age-appropriate needs.

• Prepare simple meals and snacks for children as instructed by the family.

• Engage children in age-appropriate games, activities, crafts, reading, and playtime.

• Help maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning up after the children, organizing toys, and keeping children's areas tidy.

• Follow the parents' instructions regarding routines, schedules, and household rules.

• Provide companionship and encourage positive social and emotional development through conversation and interactive activities.

• Communicate with parents regarding the children's daily activities, behavior, needs, and any concerns that may arise.

• Maintain a consistent and safe routine for the children while in their care.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• One-year prior professional experience

• Driver's license required

• CPR certification preferred
