At Aventura at Walton Hills, housekeeping is about more than keeping things clean it’s about creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents. As a Housekeeping Aide, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and clean floors and surfaces

• Properly disinfect high-touch areas

• Follow daily cleaning schedules and facility housekeeping standards

• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control procedures

• Collect and dispose of trash and waste according to facility procedures

• Assist with room turnover and special cleaning projects as needed

• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed

• Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies

• Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility

• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

• Healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment

• Dependable team player with a strong work ethic

• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift as required to perform job duties
