Outfield Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor to lead environmental services in a skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, infection control, and regulatory compliance in accordance with Federal, State, and Local guidelines.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience in long-term care housekeeping/laundry operations who can train staff, maintain compliance standards, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, including daily assignments, workflow, and performance oversight
- Organize staffing schedules, coverage, and shift replacements as needed
- Provide coaching, training, and ongoing performance feedback to team members
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and high service standards across departments
Environmental Services Operations
- Ensure all areas of the facility are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition
- Conduct routine inspections and daily rounding to verify compliance with cleanliness standards
- Oversee laundry operations, including linen handling, storage, and distribution
- Maintain infection prevention protocols in coordination with clinical leadership
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to all infection control, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Work closely with infection prevention and nursing leadership to maintain regulatory readiness
- Establish and enforce housekeeping standards, procedures, and cleaning schedules
- Support audits, inspections, and survey readiness activities
Administrative & Coordination Duties
- Maintain records related to staffing, supplies, equipment, and departmental operations
- Monitor supply usage and support cost-effective inventory management
- Communicate effectively with department leaders regarding service requests and environmental concerns
- Provide timely follow-up and resolution of service issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Supervisory experience in housekeeping/laundry within a commercial or healthcare setting
- At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping, laundry operations, and infection control standards
- Proven leadership ability with experience supervising frontline staff

- Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or post-acute care environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Familiarity with state and federal long-term care regulations
