As a Memory Care Activity Aide at Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, you'll play a vital role in designing and leading engaging activities that promote cognitive stimulation, socialization, and overall well-being among our memory care residents.

Memory Care Activity Aide Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of our memory care residents

• Lead and facilitate a variety of activities, including art, music, games, and social events, to promote cognitive stimulation, socialization, and emotional well-being

• Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages residents to participate and engage in activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging

• Document residents' participation and progress, providing insight and recommendations to the care team

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless interactions and support

Memory Care Activity Aide Requirements:

• Previous experience working with seniors, particularly those with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, is preferred

• Training will be provided

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring demeanor
