Employment Type: Full-Time 8am-4pm
Salary: $80,000–$85,000 (based on experience)

Join Our Team as a Registered Dietitian

Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing residents’ health and quality of life through individualized nutrition care in a skilled nursing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans using MDS/RAI

• Ensure compliance with physician orders, therapeutic diets, and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with nursing, social services, and food service teams

• Supervise dietary staff to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency

• Participate in state and federal surveys and support corrective action plans

• Maintain accurate documentation and dietary records

• Educate residents and families on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices

• Ensure alternative meals meet nutritional requirements when substitutions are needed

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Dietitian license or RD eligible

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred)

• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and food service management

• Experience with Sigma Care, PCC and Geri Menu (preferred)

• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Requirements

• Prior SNF/nursing home experience required

• Ability to analyze food service costs and manage dietary budgets

• Experience with food service operations and cost control
