Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall direction and goals of the nursing department

• Management and oversight of the Infection Prevention program

• Manage and supervise a team of professional nurses, nursing assistants, and other support staff to ensure high-quality patient care

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare providers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination

• Monitor and improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and safety through data-driven decision-making and quality improvement initiatives

• Develop and maintain effective policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

• Foster a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to patient care

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing or a related field

• At least 1 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with a focus on nursing administration or leadership

• Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
