We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at Horizon Post Acute in Wichita, KS. About the Role:

As a valued member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. We offer a variety of shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts, to accommodate your schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Follow established procedures for charting and incident reporting

• Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction

• Document any changes in patient conditions, including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other noticeable changes

• Utilize the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in appropriate programs

• Document and notify applicable departments of patient room changes, leaves of absence, new admits, or discharges

• Make rounds with physicians when necessary

Requirements:

• Current LPN/RN license in practicing state

• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one

• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required
