Job Summary:

Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a vital member of our rehabilitation department, you will work closely with our occupational therapists and residents to help them achieve their highest level of independence and well-being. Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities

• Conduct occupational therapy treatments and interventions in various settings, including private rooms, therapy gyms, and dining areas

• Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care

• Monitor and record resident progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments, assessments, and resident interactions

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Missouri

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or a related field preferred

• Prior experience as a COTA or in a related healthcare setting; per diem or part-time experience a plus
