Qualifications for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

• Fluency in both Spanish and English (required)

• Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

• School paraprofessionals and classroom aides

• Education, psychology, and special education students

• Tutors and academic support professionals

• Childcare workers, camp counselors, and after-school program staff

Responsibilities for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

• Follow BCBA guidance related to each client’s treatment plans

• Prepare for sessions with a clear understanding of goals, structure, and materials

• Implement intervention procedures and communicate progress to the BCBA

• Maintain professionalism with parents and caregivers in accordance with BACB standards

• Collect and record data during sessions

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA confidentiality requirements
