What You'll Do

As a Weekend Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents by:

• Providing direct nursing care to residents throughout your shift

• Assessing residents' conditions and responding appropriately to changes in health status

• Administering medications and treatments and monitoring for adverse reactions

• Implementing and evaluating individualized care plans

• Performing clinical procedures, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter care as needed

• Communicating changes in resident condition to physicians, supervisors, and other members of the healthcare team

• Maintaining accurate and timely nursing documentation and medical records

• Providing compassionate bedside care while promoting resident dignity and independence

• Educating residents and families regarding treatments, medications, and ongoing care

• Collaborating with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members

• Ensuring compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and applicable state regulations

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current CPR and First Aid certification

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable and dependable

• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
