Activity Aide

The Activity Aide helps to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activity programs of the facility. Observe residents progress, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Shifts Available: Part time, every other weekend 8AM-4PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in recreation within a geriatric or healthcare setting.

• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Memory Care is a plus

• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and facility staff

• Energetic and positive attitude

• Comfortable working with elderly, sick, or individuals with special needs

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift equipment for extended periods
