HireCare Services is seeking compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide high-quality, in-home ABA therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This role offers flexible scheduling, supportive supervision, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families across Morehead City, NC, and surrounding areas.

Your Role as a BT / RBT

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in a home-based setting under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help children develop essential communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through structured interventions and play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by your supervising BCBA

• Support skill development in communication, behavior reduction, and independence

• Collect accurate behavioral data during each therapy session

• Communicate progress updates to your clinical team

• Complete timely and detailed session documentation

• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and families

• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)

• Active RBT certification preferred OR willingness to obtain certification (BT role training provided)

• Strong communication skills, patience, and reliability

• Ability to work independently in home-based settings

• Passion for working in ABA therapy and supporting children’s development

Schedule

• Part-time and full-time positions available

• Flexible scheduling based on client needs and availability

• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday)

• Occasional weekend availability as needed

• Approximately 15–25+ hours per week depending on caseload

Compensation

$22–$27 per hour
Based on experience, certification status, and client assignment.
