Schedule: All Shifts / All Days — depending on consumer needs

Job Summary: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

The applicant for this position MUST have reliable transportation, with valid driving documents and must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping

• Assist with cooking and meal preparation

• Assist with bathing and dressing

• Assist with shopping

• Safely transport to appointments

• Safely transport to community events

• Medication reminders

• Monitoring and supervision

• Provide support with daily living activities

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive the consumer

• Valid driver’s license and required vehicle documentation

• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation

• Ability to pass required background checks

• Must complete required SLIC/state-required training and Medication Class

• Must be compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful

Consumer Information:
The consumer has an intellectual disability. No smoking and no pets in the home.

Schedule: All shifts and days are available based on the specific needs of the consumer.
