Location: Lake Charles, LA

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Requirements: Valid driver's license and completion of SLIC's Medication Class

Job Type: Part-time / Overnight

Schedule:

• Every Monday: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM

• Every Friday: 10:00 PM–10:00 AM

• Every other Saturday and Sunday: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

Job Summary: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

Join our mission to provide exceptional care across Southwest Louisiana. Looking for dedicated Direct Service Workers (DSW) for overnight shifts to support the elderly and individuals with disabilities throughout the Lake Area and surrounding SWLA Parishes. This role is perfect for compassionate caregivers in Lake Charles or nearby communities who want to provide essential 1-on-1 support during the night, helping local neighbors live safely and independently. The candidate must be a driver and will also be required to complete our company med class for this is a med delegated home.

Requirements: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

· Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Documents: Valid Driver’s License, Valid Auto Ins & Registration and Social Security Card.

· Background: Must pass all state-mandated background checks and screenings.

· Character: A patient, compassionate, and reliable work ethic.

· Driver: Must be willing and able to drive as required for the position.

Core Responsibilities: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

· Personal Care: Support consumers with nighttime routines, bathing, and personal hygiene.

· Home Support: Perform light housekeeping and provide medication reminders to ensure a safe and quiet home environment throughout the night.

· Community Help: Assist with early morning preparations or essential errands within the Lake Charles area.

· Daily Documentation: Maintain detailed care logs and communicate any changes in consumer health.
