Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our team in Richmond, VA!

In this role, you will help ensure our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks according to resident dietary plans and facility menus.

• Ensure proper portion control and food presentation.

• Set up, deliver, and collect meal trays and assist with dining room service.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and equipment.

• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following safe food-handling procedures.

• Stock and organize food supplies and assist with inventory and storage as needed.

• Collaborate with dietary, nursing, and care staff to support residents' nutritional needs.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Dietary Aide or food service experience required (healthcare or long-term care experience preferred).

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Dependable and available to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards is a plus.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and skills and may fall outside the posted range.
